Behind the song
Liner Notes
Our lives follow us around in our pockets. Every notification, message, feed and location ping asks us to stay visible, reachable and responsive. Even when we leave home, we rarely leave the online version of ourselves behind.
Ghost Mode is about taking that attention back. Cut the wire. Kill the screen. Step out of the constant performance of being connected, even if only for one night. It turns the simple decision to switch off a phone into a small act of freedom: disappearing from the network so you can be present in your own life.

Lyrics
Lyrics by Douglas Petercsak
Glass on the bar, coat on the chair Look round the room, nobody there Step in the smoke, cut to the black Once you cross over you don't look back
Cut the wire, kill the screen Step inside the in-between Three Three Two Two One Now we're gone
Ghost mode, off the grid Do it like we never did Flash of smoke, wash of light We don't exist tonight Ghost mode, let it go Moving where the shadows glow Fade to black, out of sight We don't exist tonight
Ghost mode Ghost mode Ghost mode
Phone on dark, pocket deep Secrets that the speakers keep Sliding clean across the floor Walking straight through every door
No name No face Just the pulse inside this place Can they see us? No they don't Will they find us? No they won't Signal lost Three Two One
Ghost mode, off the grid Do it like we never did Flash of smoke, wash of light We don't exist tonight Ghost mode, let it go Moving where the shadows glow Fade to black, out of sight We don't exist tonight
